Arrma RC's
  1. Typhon 3s
Hey!
I got this new set of shocks for my Typhon 3s

I’m having an hard time finding the correct spacer to put on top.

the shock cap hole is 6mm.
The space where the shock eyelet goes is 8mm.
The shock should stay towards the front to avoid rubbing on the arms.

please see pic, will definitely be clear.

can you point me towards something that would fit?

thanks a lot!

Fuel line tubing is what I used. Picked it up at a hardware store and it's typically used for weedeaters, etc. Mine is clear orange color.

this should do it. cut to length

I’ve seen that people use that a lot but wouldn’t slide back and forth?

I’ve found something but none of these manufacturers give exact measurement

We have an issue here your shock cap doesn't light up trought the hole
What kind of shock are they? The threaded part seems really not enough to adjust the ride to your desire if the sppring is stiff enough. I ussualy don't like cheap parts on important parts of a truck because stuff like this can happen you had no way to know that the hole might not line up with the shock tower. Maybe try to find another shock cap that are longer and will fit. You could probably jam a screw in but i don't think your tower will love that.

No maybe it’s the angle of the pic, the holes line up just fine, and there’s enough room for the shock to move

Those are ZD racing shocks, cheap but just like the sock typhon 6s ones, same top cap, for which I’m not willing to spend 80€ For 2 (I know, over here is bad)

Mine don't slide at all and actually fit quite tight. No issues whatsoever on my BRCC.

Oh alright then
Someone even used wire isolation for a pivot ball

This is what I did to all of mine. Except I didn’t have any fuel tubing so I grabbed some tubing from Lowe’s. Same stuff tho ????

Followed your suggestions and ended up doing this, turned out perfect!
