Hi. Its my first year with this hobbie and im swedih so with that said sorry for my grammar/spelling.

Temp is about -5 Celcius

I have tried with all of my four batteries 5&5,2ah with range from 50c up to 75c. After about 5min the car slow down like it does when it goes to low voltage mode. I get a slow blinking red light. If I do a power reset it woks again for a few minuts. back home the batteries had power and was not drianed.

What are the MaH ratings of the batteries? C rating really doesn’t have anything to do with run time. I like a minimum of 5200 MaH when possible. Also, LiPo’s hate frigid temperatures.
Oh, I just saw your batteries are 5000 and 5200. Disregard above. 😊 Run times really do suck in cold weather. Also, the plastics on the trucks break much more easily.
Welcome to the forum!

  • Cold batteries are very bad
  • Cheap batteries will have voltage sag
I've experienced both so I kind of understand what is happening lol.

Below freezing you might want to wrap the lipo in some insulation and reduce the LVC to compensate for the sag.
