Infraction Infraction / Tekin RX8 and T8 combo?

Hi all,

I’ve just purchased a second hand infraction from a reputable seller in the UK. It comes with the standard motor and ESC, but I’ve heard there have been issues with the the ESC going up in flames (it would be good to her peoples input on this).

I’m thinking of selling my TLR 8XE and putting the RX8 Gen 3 ESC and T8 Gen 3 2050kv motor into the Infraction, but then I read that the RX8 will only run 6S on 1400kv or lower. Has anyone else run 6S with the Tekin combo I have?

I would run the stock 2050kv motor but upgrade the ESC with what you can. I prefer the MMX8S as it keeps motors cooler.

I have that system but with the 2000, was thinking about doin the same thing in my infraction. I know Tekin specs theses motors for 4s but if I do it I will definitely run 6s, not sure yet though. Probably have a fire extinguisher near by. Lol.
