Hi community hope everyone is having a great week so far. I just got my Kraton 4s 2.5 and I absolutely love it. However I drive it alot in the evening and would love to add some lights to help my old eyes see it. The only brand I've found is polo creations. However I can never get them to respond to my messages which gives me a bad feeling like they are out of business. Has anyone worked with this company before? I see they have taillights and 2 headlight options. Just seeing what others have done for lighting on the Kraton 4s

Does the lights need to look pretty?
Or just give you visual aid??

If only for visuals then any 5V LED strips will suffice.

Wire them into your Aux port or tap into the motor cooling fan socket.

Thanks for the link. I've tried getting ahold of Polo Creations several times several different ways. I want front and back lights and have no clue if I need a control board as well to connect front and rear lights. Their kits are out of stock. If you look at the control board switches they are in stock but the splitter is not. I'm unaware at how they wire to the power supply. I'm assuming if I want headlights and tail lights I will need the splitter. Does that sound correct?

You just need a kit with everything to get started.
Something like this will do what you want and include all the basic circuits to let you see your rig at night. For about $16
🍺😎👍

Thank you guys for all the suggestions. I guess that was my main issue is finding the splitter to plug into the receiver. I wanted front and back lights so I was assuming a splitter is mandatory. I didn't think to look for another brand splitter. I appreciate all the input

This is the same thing right? This should work on my kraton

RC CH3 Control Switch,3 Channel On/Off LED Lamp Control Panel System Breath Flash Mode 6V for 1/10 1/8 RC Car Truck Crawler https://a.co/d/6JD6Nxd

Then pair that switch with these ?
ShareGoo 4Leds LED Light Headlights Taillight Kit Accessories Compatible with Traxxas HSP Tamiya Redcat RC4WD Axial SCX10 RC Car Truck Tank Crawler(2 Red +2 White) https://a.co/d/202kE4m

Would I need a 4 channel switch for headlights and taillights or are they a pair. Does one set of headlights take up 1 channel? Sorry for all the newbie questions. Just want to make sure I get all the right parts before I order. Thank you

That would work, but find a switch that works with something higher than 6v. 8.4 would be ideal. That way, you can keep higher voltage from the BEC to the receiver without worrying about roasting your inline switch controller.

Ahh ok great suggestion. I wasn't paying attention to that. I appreciate the help I will search for another switch. However I only see 6v switches. I will keep hunting
