I am going into the spectrum smart battery eco system. My choices are 6800mah and 10000mah both having 120c discharge rates.

Is the 6800mah enough run time for stock configuration? Should I go with 10000mah? It adds quite a bit of weight to do so which is my concern. I am also thinking in the future if I want to go 800kv I might regret the 6800mah and want the 10000mah. Thoughts? They both fit per horizon website.

10000 is better, especially in colder seasons

I run 7600's in my OC8s exb and 8000's in my K8 exb and find that they are right in sweet spot and plenty of run time for me. My setup is Max5 800kv 39/39. I don't want really long run times anyway, it gives the rig time to rest and cool.

Just say no and go get you some cheapo amazon lipo for half the price that will perform just as good.

I don't run anything below 8000 mah in my 8s rigs.
