I’ve never had a problem without it, and I launch mine into the next solar system..

Good to know, I’ll probably just remove mine then.. haha. It’s a tank anyways so the less weight the better!

Finally got all the parts needed and got it all together. Had to go with a 30 tooth pinion as it's all the LHS had and I want to bash this weekend. Also grabbed the Brute body... It's a tank!
The steering is the only thing left to tune. Off-set the servo saver as per manual, but it's well off to the right. Will take the electronics box out, put the servo saver on straight, and adjust the steering link. At the moment shortening the link is the way to get the wheels back to centre. By putting the link on straight to the servo spline I can extend the link, correcting any offset required.
