Aloha everyone.
As mentioned in the "new here" thread quite some time ago, I have started the overhaul of my Kraton v3, which was probably more than overdue. Things took a little longer to make progress since I moved in the meantime, but it's now coming along nicely. I had a few parts already lying around and finally found the time to get to it.
I'll try to have an up-to-date parts list and an occasional pic drop, to give you a better idea.
Starting point:
Slowly but steadily...
M2C tower in all it's beauty.
Getting along well with the chassis and skidplate
Now coming to the part that most of you probably won't like: the electronics.
I had a spare velineon 2200kv lying around from my E-Revo 2.0 and decided to pair it with a VXL-8s esc that was also just sitting on the shelf. Had to fiddle a little to make it work, but this is the current state of her:

That's it for the moment, will update with more pictures and a parts list.

M2C black Shock towers (front and rear)
GPM front and rear chassis braces
GPM front suspension mount
RPM front bumper
RPM arms all around

Talion rear wing (already damaged after 1 run )

3.8 Proline Badlands (not the mx version)
Electronics:
30kg Power HD servo
2200kv Velineon motor
VXL-8s ESC
Spektrum AVC compatible receiver (paired with a DX5 rugged).
Currently running 2x3s 5000mAh packs.
Everything else not mentioned is still stock.
Still waiting on my v4 body (posts etc. arrived, body is on backorder...) and the yeah racing heatsink with twin tornado fans.
More pics to come once the parts finally arrive.

I've been running the truck quite a lot during the holidays. Temperatures were low, so no heat issues despite running a 16t pinion and stock spur. Thing is quite fast.
