Good Evening Everyone,
The other night I went to drive the vehicle and noticed it would drive only a couple yards then the ESC would blink red and cut off. I thought maybe I had an ESC issue but when I examined the vehicle, I noticed the rear wheels were locked and wouldn't roll. When I pulled out the motor module the rear wheels rolled fine, so that seemed to indicate nothing was wrong with the diff. I opened up the motor module and found the spur gear looked fine but the motor itself was *very* tight to turn by hand. I plugged it in without installing it the truck. It will turn in forward and reverse, when it gets the signal from the radio but the motor seems like it's partially seized up?
(Please note, I installed a motor fan recently and ran it the first time last weekend. The temperatures seemed nice and cool during and after the run.)
Is my motor dead? If so, any ideas what could cause this? Thank you in advance!
