Arrma RC's
  1. Kraton 6s
This is my first and (currently) only RC. I picked this V5 Arrma Kraton 6S up in August and got a Spektrum DX5C (never even took the SLT3 out of the box). RPM front bumper and the RPM wing mount.

Gorilla taped the interior of the body for a little more rigidity

Shortly after I added a Power Hobby heat sink with dual fans due to frequent overheating.

Adding a Savox SW1212SG servo, Hot Racing servo mount

and most recently RPM front upper and lower A-arms.

Your truck is turning into one hot ride. I like your wheels. If you're planning on jumping your truck I would recommend a set of M2C or Hot Racing shock standoffs. The shock standoffs are a weak spot on 6s Arrmas.
Here is the list of the Kraton candy stores, M2Cracing, Scorched Parts rc, Custom RC Upgrades (CRCU), PPS rc (Precision Prototype Solutions). This is just the starter list of aerospace grade upgrades, have fun browsing.

Once you really get into Wrenching and Repairs that site will come in Real handy for OEM replacement parts.
(Their shipping fees is kind of high ,so try to buy in bulk/bundles.. Just a heads up.)

Another great Bumper Option would be the Arrma EXB Kraton Basher bumper.

Yeah best to get a good long wish list going with JennysRC and then pull the plug. Shipping works out better. you save more $$.
Just some things go out of stock.
So you need to keep updated.

My build continues…

Tires are little wider and a bit heavier with rims that are a deeper dish style.

So deep my standard RC wheel wrench is now rendered useless.

I actually had to use a socket wrench with an extension to mount these ”RC” wheels.

I finally gotta chance to try these new wheels. Picked them up Saturday morning and mounted them, took my rig outside on my street and got about 20’ and BOOM!

After getting all of that sorted out I grabbed the RC and started to head outside… ⛈️🌩️🌧️

It eventually stopped and dried up. After a full pack I can say that I noticed an improvement in handling at speeds and the tires themselves absorb bumps and terrain so much better. I’m really looking forward to continue to running these.

not done anything to mine apart from making sure everything is tight and glued after every run not even put any bumpers or skid plates on. been launching it too. really impressed with the stock kraton v5

Nice job there.
If you do consider a front and rear bumper, go with the EXB Basher bumper. I would just use the Arrma Option Metal skid plate at the rear.
The only other smart upgrades are the Front and Rear alloy chassis braces. The plastic OE ones are not all that with the LWB V5 chassis.
HR or M2C's. You need them for hard bashing.

cheers for that I have the rpm and exb bumpers on some of my other cars. just wanted to see how the kraton in complete stock form would last. bit of a test really :)
