My new paint job

My first sprays in a long time. I think it turned out pretty good. Got some splotchy stuff in the fade from yellow to red, but it's uniform, so ummm I meant to do it lol. No airbrush, just Tamiya cans and Tamiya masking tape. I broke every rule of painting dark colors first, but it turned out fine...

The emaxx body is wider than the big rock body, and had to flip the removable proline hex hubs to the front of the rims to get enough width to clear the wider body. The HR 10mm hexes were not wide enough with the rim hubs bolted in normally. With the stock hexes, the rims are pretty far out now, so with the wider track, same wheelbase, and pudgy body, it has a scaled up swb stance. Like a granite xl lol

That looks sick. So whats the rule with merging paint? Paint darker colour 1st?

Yes. Yeah when I'm doing a fade from the inside, if I paint the darker color first lighter color doesn't show through.
