New Granite Mega Question

Hi guys I bought a Granite mega as a gift for my 8 year old son as an entry to the hobby. I was wondering how much run time he could get with the 2s 5200 mah 30c. Thanks in advace!!

There are a lot of things that can effect run time, but on average you can get about 20-30 minutes on a 5200 mAh battery.

Have a replacement motor available because the mega motor will burn really fast on Lipo power.

You mean a replacement or a different motor? I just like the brushed motor because is not as fast like a brushless.

The Traxxas 12T Titan motor is a great replacement motor for the ARRMA Mega series of RC cars. The motor isn't that much faster but has a little more torque.

The problem with lipos and the arrma motor is that the motor generates lots of heat and burn the brushes. That is why you should have a spare motor when the Arrma burns out.
