Granite New parts for the Granite

Some new parts for my rig. Still to come T bone front bumper, wheelie bar and new body soon. Will be updating and putting my thoughts here for each part

I just ordered the bumper myself. Only concern is I had to choose between red and blue and I went with blue. Not sure how a blue bumper will look.

Well, only the brace/bracket piece will be blue/red....the big bar bumper across the front is still black.

Oh good to know. In that case I should have ordered red then lol. It would have matched with the shock caps and other parts on the truck.

Tekno 12mm hex, Proline Trenchers, and a Robinson Racing 20t pinion(got a 15T coming in the Mail). Cant wait for tomorrow to try it out...

Yes. Not the two on the outside got damaged in bad landings trying some back flips. Will order a new kit later.

The lights look awesome man. I'm gonna be honest though, it's not gonna look completely awesome until you get a new body for it. The stock orange body just doesn't look too cool, especially with lights. I'd go with a metallic blue or purple to make those lights stand out.

The lights were to just be able to run it at night better, i work late. With the next body im gonna run another set of lights. Still trying to figure out wich body to go with.

Are you plugging into a receiver socket to power your lights? If so, which socket? Just ordered a set and would like to have an idea on how to hook them up before they come in.

Yes they are plugged straight to the reciever. I have a wye connector on channel 3. From the wye i run my fan for the motor and the lights. U have to open the reciever box and run the wires on the side it has a lil slit for the wires. I recommend running a 3 inch extension from the reciever box then connect the ligjts to that. That way u don't have to take apart the box every time u gonna disconnect the wire.

Some more upgrades to the granite. T-bone front bumper(for the granite) and rear T-bone rear bumper/wheelie bar(for the big rock 3s). And a new body that will be prepping and painting soon. More to come soon

A few pictures of the new C10 body for mu granite. Still not done, need to do stickers, lights, and reinforce the inside. This is my very first rc body i paint and cut.

I don't have one yet. I know I probably should’ve cut the body a lil longer on the sides, not on the body lines, so it doesn’t sit so high on the side. I might have to lower the body posts a lil. Once i get home i try to get some more pics.
