No beeps for lipo cell count

I have a new outcast with the blx185 esc and it doesn't beep at startup to signify lipo cell count. Thought I tried everything but same thing, no beeps. What am I missing?

Happy that's what mine was doing I'm 6s it would kill the first two cells on my battery Run 2 three cell and would work good I called Horizon Hobbies they said pull it out of the truck throw it away and they sent me a new one for free and I told them I got no beeps either when I would turn it on hope this helps you out

My BLX185 esc doesn't beep for anything, plug in, power up, overheat, LVC reached, motor cable disconnct... no beeps. Just the light on it flashes green when I turn it on, then red when I give it throttle/brake. Not sure what the light does when it overheats or reaches LVC.

It's completely normal, they're all that way. The only beeps a BLX185 makes, is while in program mode, no other time.
