Here is my Protoform C8 for the Felony
So I searched the web to steal some ideas. Needed some simple. I found this TRD livery that had just enough complexity.
Next was spray some liquid mask. I used a $10 gravity spray from Harbor Freight with a 1.5mm tip.
Design drawn in and it was time to cut. I noticed no matter how light I tried to be it would still scratch the body with the razor blade. But painted you can’t tell unless you over extend a line into a different color area.
Now some orange
Yellow
Peeled the next section for white. I didn’t want a flat white so I layer down a few light layers of the white Pearl and then backed the whole body with an opaque white
It’s hard to see the pearl on camera but here’s a close up in the sun
I used these Proline paints. To creat some custom one off colors. I added candy red to the metallic red and metallic orange. Also mixed candy yellow with the Pearl white to get the gold/yellow strip.
