No. He's already told us he's not good with wood. Don't worry... Practice makes perfect!

Actually now that I have an almost fully equipped woodworking shop (need a band saw and a drill press....and a jointer and planer!) I'm pretty good at building stuff. I was kind of half-assing it out of scrap lumber and I made one mistake.

You can't make good wood with only half an ass...you usually need to put the full ass behind it!... Sorry it's been a rough day. You guys make me laugh!
