I recently picked up a very, very rough and very dirty Raider XL BLX that was incomplete, but, thanks to eBay and A-Main, its 99% all back together. Im just waiting on the wing and wing mount.

I threw a Fury body on it, just to see what it would look like. I kind of like the look, but, what do you guys think?

Parts that i used (the Axial slipper pads are way too big for the Arrma 2WD spur, but, the AE DR10 slipper pads fit the Fury spur perfectly, since the original Arrma slipper pads arent available anywhere):

Nice job. I actually prefer the Raider body. Don't see many anymore, and less debris in the chassis. Looks good though.
I am a huge fan of the LWB original Arrma 2WD's (Fury, Raider XL, and Mojave), and, i try to pick up as many as i can, so, i am always looking on FB marketplace and eBay for them. This one though, i found locally while picking up a Losi TEN-SCTE. It was sitting on the floor of the guys shed, and, i just had to add it to my collection, since he said he had no use for it. Im also looking at a pair of Fury's i found on eBay this morning. So far, i have 2 running ones, and 3 that all need work, but, i constantly say, i will never have enough of them. At one point, i had 5 Fury's, and 4 Raider's, and 4 Raider XL's, before the fire last year.

So sorry about the fire. Sounds like your on your way back though. Now we know why ya don't see many anymore:rolleyes:
Actually, you don't see many anymore because they were discontinued after the Hobbico/Traxxas lawsuit mess. I don't get them all though. I try to leave some for other guys, once in awhile lol. It all depends on if my bank account says yes or no to buying my next one. Most of the time, it tells me no, so, if anyone wants to donate them to me, i would be very grateful. Currently, im keeping one mostly box stock original (one of my Fury's: https://www.arrmaforum.com/threads/my-arrma-fury-long-term-build-project.56608/), building one to bash and run hard, one just to see how fast i can make it before it explodes, one for whatever, and all the buggies are hers.

Finally got all the missing and broken parts installed and replaced.

Wing.

Wing mount. ( I forgot to take a pic of the wing mount and cage before I opened it. The part number is ARAC8812).

Still waiting on the light housing kit, so all the lights can be installed (6 white forward facing lights, and 2 red rear lights).
