I didn’t realize I could post my rc builds with TRAXXAS here on the arrma site without getting attacked ??...

Check out my rustler I just finished up.

Still needs some work but this is what I’ve got so far...

I’ve broken a couple axles already and bent a couple more... I’ve not been able to get through 1 pack with this thing! Haha.

I hope you are sucessful i had enough of mine and sold it for 150$ nobody wanted it for some reason

MIP is the only company that makes axles for these that are not garbage.

Good to know, thank you. I was trying to avoid the huge price tag but I guess that’s outta the question haha.

The Tekno garbage too? I saw that they were dog bone style and thought they might be ok.

I had heard MIP were some of the only ones that could survive 4s.

Tekno makes a conversion kit. Supposed to be good.

Way cheaper than mip’s. Been putting these on the back burner for my slash

The problems with the Tekno kit is you have to use everything in that kit, the wheel hubs are plastic so if you already have any of the aftermarket aluminum hubs that is money wasted on those as you will not be able to use them. They come with plastic hexes from everything I have read the plastic hexes are not good at all, the aluminum hexes are an option at $20 so once you add those in you are at about the same price as the MIPs.

I have one guy who broke like 20 mip axles so i will say they are hot crap expensive hot crap the tekno dog bones seems to be the ones to go with

My father's second cousins fifth grade teacher doesn't have any problems with anything ever.............

They most of the time don't break its the pin that flies out and the driveshaft falls apart if you are unlucky you might shadder the steel
Idk why the most know brands in rc manufacturers cant come with a design that works traxxas cant mip cant and the other little ones who sell 20$ galium shafts who bend when you fart next to them i don't understand why this is such a thing while other companies do them right from one try imo the issue is in the material itself metal doesn't flex much driveshaft sliding style cant be made full of metal they will break in a hard colision because they cant flex much
When you pay 100$ for driveshafts and when you jump from a bump stop and the axle shadders there is no excuse for this

I have some of the eBay cheapos on my Stampede, the grub screws backed out quite a lot and the pins would come out. I ended up using red thread lock on them, now the issue I am having is all the places where the pins and barrels go through are starting to hog out.

I have been running these since September of 2018
