I wrapped my tires with kevlar thread. A drop of superglue on the knot to make sure it doesn't come undone. 150 meters of 0.4mm thread for something like £4 at hobbyking.

These look fantastic, but would probably work well with the body lowered and the shocks stiffened if you tend to drive on the pavement more often. I also have a Senton with street tires and I just got back from a street bash session with my new Felony.
