Servo mount basics

I've had really bad luck this year breaking servos in my Noto so with the arrival of my afgrc 45kg I really want to do things right.

When Installing a servo, (I have an aluminum servo mount) is it best to screw the servo straight into the mount with no rubber damping? Does the rubber dampers that come with the servo help provide cushion or vibration damping? Please see attached examples.

Take those out and install it straight in there.
