I'm running the slipper in mine. Should work for you.View attachment 367985
Hi all-
I am having issues with the center diff binding up in the plastic case and was wondering if I could run a slipper clutch for the time being. Stock v2.5 driveshaft but it needed the little red insert.
Cool! Did you set it up the same way, v2.5 shaft with the red insert? Or using an old shaft?I'm running the slipper in mine. Should work for you.
Old v2 shaft. Ordered from Jenny's rcCool! Did you set it up the same way, v2.5 shaft with the red insert? Or using an old shaft?
I see! I will see if I can get that on there. One last question, are you running the center support bearing and does it fit well ?Old v2 shaft. Ordered from Jenny's rc
Yes I am running the center support bearing. KA on ebay has them in stock.I see! I will see if I can get that on there. One last question, are you running the center support bearing and does it fit well ?
Great, thanks for the reply! I don’t have driveshafts that are the right length from my 3s cars, so I’m going to try running it the way I have it now. Finally, it’s first maiden run coming tomorrow!Yes I am running the center support bearing. KA on ebay has them in stock.
I had this happen. For me, I replaced one of the screws for the center diff and it ended up rubbing the back of the plastic power module. The stock screws have very slightly flatter heads with just enough clearance. Maybe this is the problem?Hi all-
