I would do this only if I had a spare set. Plastic varies ridiculously by the amount the fiber used. It works well with the X-Maxx arms but is pretty terrible for stock 6s Arrma arms, meaning it does next to nothing. I always do this to RPM arms since they tend to be on the harder side for low fiber arms. The K8S arms definitely flex more than the 6s arms but you're still dealing with a 25 pounder. I leave my DBXL arms alone since I'd rather have them break than the expensive stuff they're attached to.
