Vorteks Solid red and green light.

On my SLT transmitter when I pull down on the trigger to go forward I get nothing. But when I push forward to go reverse. I just about sever my legs everytime because it's so snappy. Instead of me going forward when I push down the trigger all I get is a solid half red half green light what am I doing wrong?
It is also brushless

Per the SLT Radio manual, probably need to do an ESC Throttle calibration.
Make sure the SLT radio is set for the proper Throttle direction first. So the rig goes forward when you Pull the Thr. (using the Forw./Rev. switch) The sliding toggle switch on that radio. Make sure the Throttle Trim dial knob is at Neutral/Zero, before calibrating the Throttle endpoints. The logical steps first. Just follow the SLT3's manual to do this.
Try that first and let us know how it goes. Really need to read the SLT manual well. Can't ignore it.
