Im intrigued to see how you get on.
What is the fastest someone has pushed this system to in an open wheel limitless?

130mph would be great.

Do I need to bite on the “worlds fastest” trends haha because I don’t know what the fastest is on Spektrum.

I’ll continue posting my progress and hopefully some other give it a go too

1st time on 6s with 1/10 noto..NEW 1/10 PB..27 degrees here in subdivision on a shorter runway. Try at spot tomorrow..truck went surprisingly strait..5 back to back passes. I think spool is all good..ill keep pushing it.pulled 173 amps on 98mph pass...little room for more.impressive for useing noto body with wide typhon arms an hr +10 also useing 2300kv 8s motor..with narrow vendetta body would put up some goood #s

What battery are you using?

Officially ran the Infraction 8S build. I went too hard and came up too short.

The setup:
- V2 Infraction
- Spektrum 8S 160A ESC
- Spektrum 1250kv motor
- Perfect Pass
- Yokomo Drift Gyro V4
- (2) CHNL g+plus 5000mAh 4S
- 39t Saga pinion and 29t Limitless Spool

First run was 103mph, cut short. Second run was 106mph, and third run was 109mph with LVC.

I tried one sec less on the Perfect Pass but ended up getting LVC at 98mph on the 4th pass.

I’m gonna restart the process using 33t pinion and 34t spool

I was expecting 105+110mph with the gearing..noto body seams to loss steam into the 90s...

Omar’s Granite hitting 137mph on 7S. Have you guys tried any unconventional runs with 5S, or 7S?

Yup, I’ve run my Typhon on 7s before raising the body and going 8s. K-BASH gave me the idea. Just gotta use batteries alike, same brand and mAh.

I got 91 with my limitless, going back out tomorrow for 115mph.
running xlx2 / 1100kv castle motor.
full goal 240mph, you can see the full build on my thread ”wold record speed build, round 2.

Got a tip from a guy at the lhs. Traxxas #7246 GTR springs under the shock body of the rear Limitless shocks. Tight squeeze getting the spring holder back on but added just enough tension to stiffen the suspension without locking it out. Thoughts...

At some point ya might as well do away with shocks an use turnbuckles.removes 45ish grams per shock.grams help with amp draw
