  1. Kraton 6s
Was out running the Kraton and about 10 minutes and I lost throttle. The power button, fans and steering work just fine but there is no led light or motor chime on start up. I had also just put a brand new stock motor in. Is my Spektrum 150a fried?

It’s still putting out BEC power, but has zero motor response, I’d check your motor wires, and if all is well there, I’d say it’s probably cooked.

Agreed, check your 3 motor wires. Most likely, one of them de-soldered itself. These ESC are pretty hardy and have overtemp protection.
Sounds odd though that there is no LED, usually the ESC will give some indication regardless if the motor is attached.

Make sure your throttle trim is at zero. 'No LED' typically occurs when everything else is normal but you should see blinking LEDs at startup.

So I just tried the motor on a different esc and it works fine. Is there some sort of hard reset I can try or is this now 100% smoked? If it is smoked what route do you guys recommend? 90$ replacement from Jenny's or future proof myself and spend 160$ for a Max6.

Absolutely no LED during power on? If that is a yes, it's dead. No, there isn't a hard reset.

Still under warranty? Horizon is good with warranty, Get anew one from JennyRC or pick whatever you like.

Get a temp gun and check your motor/ESC temps. 10 min with a larger pinion in grass can result in overheated conditions but get a feel for it by checking temps until you know your rig a little better. It is unusual for an ESC to die like it apparently did.

Yeah absolutely no LED during power on. Car is about 1.7 years old I doubt Horizon would warranty it for me. I'm only running a 13t pinion and have a temp gun. The ESC always seemed to run pretty cool and I have a decent fan on it, never seen it get over 110. It may have but never when I check it, I mainly watch my motor temps. It does seem unusual because it has been super reliable for me and I haven't really changed anything.
