Ok so am running 3s with a 57t spur which took a crap on me today , any one can recommend a good spur with less teeth please

Which 4x4 model you referring to. How you driving this? There are many 4x4's.
Just change the pinion, to change ratios, replace spur with another stocker one. Nothing wrong with them.
The spur crapped out for a few reasons. Usually because of lack of maintenance or user error. Failing to clean out the Power Module frequently enough and checking your mesh. Damage is also a possibility. Hard hits can also bend the motor mount plate. Gears will become misaligned and brick the spur and/or pinion. And Rather easily. Looking for the next latest and greatest Upgrade spur is not always the answer. But they do make Metal spurs FWIW. Not sure what sizes they offer. A Metal spur wont neccessarilly be the 100% fix at all.
If you never opened and cleaned out your Power Module, and continue like this, you will always have issues like this. Needing to open it up when all is bricked.
Upgrade the Motor mount plate if anything. Check yours well, removing it completely and check for a perfectly flat plate. Use a Blue Threadlocker on the Motor mount meshing screws. Allow to cure for 24 hours before use.
