Tire vent holes automatically moved

The vent holes are not moving but the foam

Made perfect vent holes in my PL Trenchers but noticed after the bash the foam has covered the holes. Is this normal and does it even matter as long as I have a hole in the rubber?

This could be the case all the time just the first time I have looked or noticed. Thx

The foam is directly under the tires, Air can flow through the foam so what you see is normal.
