So these finally came in and they’re gorgeous!

I literally just stripped my screw on the 4S Limitless build. Spherical shaped head and conical shaped.. no performance difference between the two.

While I don’t loctite my screws on the plate, if you do use threadlocker it’s recommended you use a activator when using two non-reactive metals such as titanium and aluminum.

They are M4x18mm with 3.0hex

What do you mean by Activator. What specifically?
I agree that disimilar metals always causes havoc. Seizing up.
Nice Ti offerings there.

Wouldn’t the aluminum oxidized and have have a protective layer of oxidation almost immediately?

I don’t know the chemical processes for the activator. I just did a quick google search on using thread locker for Titanium.

That question may be better suited for the Loctite manufacture.

Just curious, 🧐 we use Nolox on aluminum wiring to keep it from oxidizing (keeps the air from getting to it) it’s not required (some people will say it is 🤷🏻‍♂️). Aluminum wiring in commercial projects mainly the main feeders for gear and panels has increased a lot in the last 2-3 years with the cost of copper. Could be 20k to 50k or more of a price difference.
