Typhon Mega 550 Bearings

Greetings,

Looking for some suggestions on a set of bearings. I cannot find any specifically for the 550. Should any set for the Typhon work fine? I see a thread asking about this from back in 2018. I assume brands have changed since then.

If 550, meaning the brushed motor.... Many are just brass Oilte bushings. Not true Ball raced bearings. Brushed motors are very cheap enough to Replace. It is rare than anyone changes their Bushings/ Bearings, unless it is some $80-$100. Holmes Hobbies Rebuildable brushed motor with BB's. Sealed can brushed motors have no way to change out the BB's, doing so destructs the motor beyond reuse. My spin.

Check with Jims Bearings or TRBRC, for the chassis BB sets. Always verify the correct kit you need before you buy.
