Big Rock Upgrading shocks, and found this.

First real upgrade to the Big Rock. I picked up the Kraton 6s front shocks as a direct swap for the rears. Got the Axial rubber bushings as recommended on the 3s shock thread here on the forum.

I got the shocks at JennysRC. I’m in Canada on the west coast, so it took about 3+ weeks to arrive. The bushings I was able to pick up on Amazon for cheap. Shocks were $30 USD on JennysRC.

LOVE the look and feel of the new shocks. As I was installing I found the following…

The bent tie rod?
I'd just bend it back straight. You'll get a bend or three out of it before it gets weak.

Thanks! I love those shocks. I need to upgrade the fronts now…

I ended up bending it back into shape. Quick light hammer on a block of wood got it back.
