Senton Venting the Body

After cutting venting in the Senton body, wow does it ever help with ballooning of the body and keeping it on the ground!

This is my dogs chase toy. It’s almost stock. I swapped out all of the bearings and input gear for the rear after the input bearings seized on me. They were replaced with sealed bearings. I also have a 2050 kv motor from a 6S unit with a 26t pinion and 50t spur gear.

Could you show exactly how and where you vented the body? I am doing it in a couple of days.

Very nice. Have a dermel, doesn’t work anymore so decided to get a reamer. Cheaper than buying another Dremel. Will put holes in there. Will post pictures when done. Thank you for the pictures.

The rear side of the front fenders act like wings and push the car upwards. Cutting a vent there dramatically reduces parachuting.

My first attempt. Will see if I need to add, make bigger or something else as needed. I’m a bit OCD so it must be neat otherwise it grinds on me. As it is, 2-3 holes are off center, it will eventually bother me. Thanks again for the pictures. It helped me a lot to understand venting.
