Least it was a 3s? The bright side! Can you imagine an 8s at full throttle?
I hit my ankle at a slow speed with my 6s typhon and I was glad I had boots on and also realized the weight over my 3s slash will make a big difference on how bad you get hurt. Hope you heal up quick.

Had a friend blindside me and ended up loosing my big toenail. Hurt like hell for a week, couldn't wear shoes and had to limp.
Ya got to learn to Jump or that may happen more than you like or learn to drive better . 
I've had to jump over my 1/5TH scale which weighs about 30 pounds which was doing 30 to 35mph. Very scary.
