Kraton Will Hobbystar Max6 fit in a v4 Kraton

I've read in some posts from 2017 that they are running Max6 esc's (This esc)in Kratons. Will the current model esc (v3) fit in a v4 Kraton?

Yes, If you are referring to installing the hobbywing max6 esc in the stock blx185 esc location.

With a little work and creativity you could fit pretty much any esc. I run a max5 located above the center diff for example with a custom carbon fiber mounting plate.

You'll have to shave the lip flat that's on the plastic ESC tray

Thanks for the reply. I just realized I converted mm to inches incorrectly and thought it was 3.75 inches long.

What are you using for a dust shroud?

The local hardware store has 4"x 4" samples of screen for windows, doors and screened in porches, so I cut a square out of it and ran the 4 screws through it from underneath
