I inadvertently ordered a set of shock caps for the older Arrma shocks (non V5). Anyone know the reason why they won’t work on the V5 shocks?

Anything but a thread pitch or diameter of shock diaphragm/piston would be easily revised.

Following, put together rigs only using v5 or later components so I’m not sure about the “classics”

You could try to email them directly. I misordered some diff outdrive cups & I sent them an email that was responded to within a day or two. They have great customer service, so I'd just reach out to them

IIRC they changed the thread on the shock caps.
