I know I have seen a nice skate board park somewhere in Lex I want to go back to, but can't remember where

are all 17mm wheel nuts the same thread pitch or do they vary between brands? I want to get some closed end wheel nuts

Google maps, earth view. I use that to find skate parks. 90% of the time they are in a park with a baseball or softball diamond which are easy to spot from an aerial view, then you zoom in to see if you can find a skate park.

Wheel nuts vary between brands. Associated ones fit on my outcast hubs. I literally lost one before I even took my outcast outside. No idea how, but I was installing RPM arms, other wheels/tires, putting teflon tape on the pillow balls, then when I went to put the wheels on, I couldn't find a nut. Luckly had a couple of those associated ones from a purchase 10 years ago when I lost one on a HB Lightning buggy, which they didn't fit. Still had then in my parts box. lol

I went through three sets of FE bearings that did not last as long as the ones that came with my Typhon(v1). That was about 2 hours each on those thin big diameter hub bearings, they would not go past a couple track days.
I bought a set of Avid yellow sealed and have not blown one in many hours of running since.

I've had the opposite with avid vs FE bearings. Avids die on me fast, but FE's seem to last a lot longer. I used to run avids for wheel hubs and CB's on my nitros. The 5x10 revolution (rubber on one side) ones would die pretty quick on CB's and wheel axles. So I quit buying them and just went with FE's.

I replaced the bushings in the top of the steering posts. Did I miss any other bearing in the posts because it looks like I have two small ones left over.

Bottom of the posts maybe?? I haven’t got that far with mine yet

Yup. When you pull off the steering assembly from the steering posts, there are bushings at the top of each one and at the bottom. Make sure you so them both or you will end up doing twice the work like I just did, lol .

I cheated and bought the entire Hot Racing steering set up for mine. I need to call and ask what brand of bearings they use. Hopefully Fe’s. Reminds me I need to order a new micrometer. Something else to add to the list. Lol
