Outcast 4s Outcast Looses connection w/ radio at 100ft

Good day folks I’m fairly new here and also new to the Arma family. Looking for some help. I have a brand new outcast for us RC. I’ve only had it for four days. noticed that the car travels about 100 feet and loses reception with the handheld radio Anyway to diagnose this or how to fix? I just want to thank you in advance

This problem is usually caused by a damaged antenna wire or depleted transmitter batteries.

Ensure antenna wire is extended all the way up in tube and not coiled in box or cut/ damaged. Many stock radios are garbage also.

Is there quick link where I find how to pair a my SLT3 from Big Rock radio to my Putacst just to see if it’s my Out ast Radio the problem? Again guys much appreciated. Sorry for the newbie questions.
