I'm puzzled if my MMX8S is only reading to 336 amps or if my motor is maxed out. My datalog is consistently reading 336 @ 70% power out but rpm still climbs to full power out. I'm afraid of damaging my equipment. I almost certain gearing down is the solution but I don't want to lose any speed. Any push in the right direction is appreciated.

Does the big aluminum wing add too much weight in the rear? Could lead to unwanted high-speed flips.

I’ll let others chime in on the data logs.
 
It did a little bit. I was all over the road and it helped more than it hurt I think. Had too much time on my hands and not enough cash to buy carbon fiber.
 
Your only putting out 336a cause thats all it'll do on 70% power..motor nowhere near maxed an temp will tell ya when its maxed got a pick of log??that motor will put out 6500w +++.you are running under 3000ft an thats very short..go longer if possible. I run 5200ft ++
Heres 96mph hit in vendetta on 3s in neighborhood from today with mmx8s

That motor is rated @320 on the eBay sellers but couldn't find it on tp site. I can reach 100% power out and rpm's increase the whole last 30% from 70 but at 70 the amps are 336 and stay that for the last few seconds of the run. I agree I need more space. I think there's an issue because of the amp stall at 70% if the motor will put out more than that. My datalog has shown this motor 7500w @ 336 around 74000rpm but that's b link don't really know if there's any diff readings than pc link
 
Set esc at 100%it'll be okay.ive run 124mph with mmx8s on 3s with tp4050cm 3800kv which pulls more amps than 3200kv..esc can take it.just keep temps under 160..
Id really consider on going with diffrent tires thou..those will blow
