Granite 85 amp spectrum combo

Granite Fox posted the 85 amp Spektrum combo (thanks for that). Is anyone running one in a granite mega? If so how does it compare to the brushed mega? I have 2 brushed megas that I am thinking about upgrading, but don't want to go to far yet. I don't want to end up having to do all the upgrades on other parts as I will likely buy 3/4s trucks if my 6 year old stays with it. Basically the “megas” will be backups. Will there be any increase in speed/performance? Thanks guys

Just keep the Megas brushed as backups, especially for the kids. Motors are cheap. Megas are far from BLX ready, drivetrain wise.
Save your coin for the BLX 3s/4s rigs you are saving for or want now.
Let others chime in with their ideas.
Some may even recommend BLX. Of course $$$ can make any rig BLX. It's your wallet in the end. Your call.

yeah what SrC said. you have to replace a bunch of crap on the mega to get it to BLX ready.
