Been a bit, but I was rewarded w/ a brand spanking new spot today!!😍 Lots of open space w/ some great terrain & the road RIGHT NEXT to it may have some speed running promise.🙂🤞 Had the Toe Cutter today but had 35mph crosswinds so I'll wait to test. Ran thru 2 packs @ lunch & saved my 3rd for afternoon break...& this piece of plywood!!! Launched the Black Sheep about 20-25' out, LOVE watching it soar thru the air!!! Had me giggling like a little kid til a wonky landing threw me into a mild cartwheel of doom (only 10 or so😆). Came up limping & looks like something happened to the rear diff cuz only have front wheel drive- will have to investigate further when I get home🤕😕

I swear you must spend more time cleaning your rigs than driving them!

That looks like the perfect spot to run. Wide open doing big circles and drifting, throwing dirt all over! Any pics of it flying off the ramp?

Josh drives all his rigs. Ain't nothing going to keep him from running. You see the pics of him destroying his best friends yard? So awesome !

I only have 2 off road rigs right now, so it's not that bad- just some scalding hot water in the sink. Already hosed it off & gave him a spritz of wd40. Straw is just organic material that can go down the garbage disposal, right??🙃😬🤣

I'll bet they were easier to clean when you could just use the pond in your living room. 😝 :ROFLMAO:

Throw 'er right down there and use some bacon grease to help things go down easy!
I'm not gonna waste my bacon grease pouring it down the drain- that's what I fry my eggs with!

Got 3 packs thru the Derecho today between lunch & afternoon break. Only spot for a rip was this cut bean field. Not the best, but there were a couple dips where I could fly a little bit. Charging batteries & try it again tomorrow 🙂👍🤘

Been a while since you could make dust! (y)
I know! Most of the shallower mud holes have dried up so the Derecho does better in that kind of dirt. Gonna be 70° on Friday, but they're expecting thunderstorms so I gotta get my sessions in while I can😀

Jobsite today was much more enjoyable. Huge grass lots, but there was a lot more drivable dirt & there was a giant bonus- someone was kind enough to build me a little ramp out of gravel!!😁😍 What a blast!!!! Even managed to get a few midair shots!!😂 3 packs again today & for the 2nd day in a row, zero breakages!!😆🥰👍👍🤘🤘

Cool pics Josh! Looks like a blast. Have to stop taking my edible and trying to function. I quickly read your post and then scrolled down to the pics to find the grave you were jumping off. I'm thinking, wow! Josh will use virtually anything as a jump!! Then I'm thinking...why is there a grave at a construction site!!! Now I'm looking for a headstone by the jump/ grave.:ROFLMAO: Then I went back and re read your post!:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO: Anyway, glad you had fun and no damage to your rig or a grave!:ROFLMAO:
What's scarier is I missed reading just one letter and it took my mind to a different place!

Ok arrma fam, this is exactly why I built the Derecho like I did. Hard packed dirt w/ just enough loose stuff on top to make it easier to toss it around in the corners. Just an amazingly fast little ripper on this type of terrain- this area covers the back yards of 3 consecutive lots so I could really get some speed going before I had to get on the brakes & there was just a little rise in between that i could get some decent distance off of. Man, so much fun watching that beast chew up the ground like that!! Both motor fans quit so I had to finish up topless, but I CAN'T WAIT till we go back!!!!😃🥰😍👍👍🤘🤘

Awesome pics Josh! I agree, perfect kind of terrain for running on! Enough loose stuff to kick up a little dust and drift! Plus just use a paint brush to dust it off when done!

Awesome Josh, that's the kind of terrain that my Mojave loves! amazing how quick you went from muck to this.

The Derecho is almost a Mojave- arms, shocks, tires, but kraton chassis, typhon towers so I'd guess it kinda drives like a Mojave (although I wouldn't really know cuz I've never driven one!) Black Sheep (kraton) definitely does better on the rougher/chunkier stuff, but on this hard pack that Derecho absolutely screams- I love the mojo shocks on there, just floats across the ground, chewing up the real estate!!🥰

I'd be climbing up and down those dirt piles also utilizing that 4x4 power!

Not technically our jobsite today, but we were about half a block from the high-school ball diamonds. Didn't figure the teams would appreciate me tearing up their infield but they had a great big gravel parking lot. Was actually able to get wide open throttle & really slide the Derecho around, so much fun!!!😃🥰 Kinda had to pay attention where I was pointing so I didn't get pelted w/ rocks! 3 packs & I still have some tread left on the tires!! God I love this hobby 😍😃😎👍🤘
