Anyone know if these are mostly the same?

So I have a Traxxas Hoss that has the X-01 steel driveshafts on it. The pins broke and I need a rebuild for just the pins and holders inside but just want the pins. There is a newer version of these driveshafts and I found this to rebuild them. Does anyone have experience if this works for the old ones? Do you happen to know the part # for the shafts you have? If so, a search on Traxxas site might tell you if the newer ones are a direct replacement, or if they are a complete redesign. Another option, if there is one near you, is try your LHS and see what they say. They may have the rebuild kit in stock, and you can compare it to your original parts.
