arrma kraton 6s rear diff not meshing with pinion gear

Hi, I have an Arrma Kraton 6s and the rear diff doesn't seem to be meshing with the pinion gear properly, I've taken it all apart to check for any broken or worn gears and all seems to be fine. There's a bearing connected to the pinion gear that appears a bit loose but I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem and if anyone knows how to fix it.

Shimming. And replace those bearings.
