Outcast arrma outcast v1

looking at buying an arrma outcast 4s (v1 i beleive) for £230 quid, has rpm arms all round, vitavon hubs front and rear, proline badlands mx tires, crcu chassis brace and hot racing bladderless shocks. seems like a pretty good deal to me. what are the differences between v1 and v2?

The differences are size and the v2 come with metal diffs and hybrid metal/plastic axles and a metal spur gear.

are parts cross compatible? like could i put v2 arms onto a v1 (with longer links and shafts because of extra width) basically what im trying to get at is if i break something can i put a v2 part on as the v1 parts are getting harder to find slowly.

The shocks, upper bulkheads are for sure different and and cannot remember if the hubs were different or not.
