Talion Battery life

New to having the Talion EXB. I purchased 2 spektrum smart batteries. 3s 5,000 each. 50C discharge. I was trying some speed runs for the 1st time and only got about 15 minutes out of the batteries. I’ve never tried speed runs before but this talion is by far the fastest RC I’ve ever had. Is that 15 min run time normal or is there possibly a problem with the batteries? Thanks.

Normal with tall gearing. Running larger than included . Watch your temps.
But are not really speed running.??? With those packs. Real speeds with get much less time than you are getting. IMHO.
Good to have a temp gun in hand also. if you don't already.
Your packs aren't the best for this. ( w/5000mah/50C's)

Wasn’t actually speed running, but basically going full throttle like a speed run most of the time. Thanks for everyone’s response.

Yup, normal but as others stated watch motor temps.
Get more Lipos for more fun.
I couldn't do what you said without motor fans, I did burn a motor as a result and learned from that.
