The body with the top-held rear wing looks dope.

Can someone explain why most dragsters have the rear suspension in an upright position?

When a Shock is leaning at an angle it allows the movement of the wheel and arm without compressing the spring and piston of the shock as much.
Aligning it perfectly up and down makes all the travel compress the spring and piston instead.
