Granite Brushless motor suggestions

Looking for a brushless option for my daughters granite 4x4 mega , to get rid of the overheat problem with the stock gear. Price isn’t a huge deal, but shouldn’t break the bank. Aldo want to know if I upgrade to brushless, do I need a new radio?

I don’t mind paying upwards of 100.00 as long as it is good quality. I assume most come with a motor esc combo, I just know from upgrading my ECX that I needed a new transmitter too
