Can I shorten my Castle wires?

Definitely remember reading certain motors wires have some kind of coating or something on em. How bout Castle? Specifically a 6400kv drag motor. Wires are obnoxiously long I'd love to shorten em.

Yes you can, castle uses regular wire.

I'm a neat freak when it comes to wiring. If the motor solder tabs are facing up shorten the wires there. With your wires plugged into your ESC unsolder them from the motor, shorten them, and then reconnect them. By doing everything in place you can get the wire length perfect.
