Castle MMX 8S (entering internal gear ratio)

Every time I go to enter the internal gear ratio it doesn’t let me send it or press enter so to speak. I took a screen recording of the phenomenon but obviously can’t upload it here. The pinion and spur are accepted just fine. Thing is I’ve had this problem on my MMX 6 and 8. So I think I am the problem…

If you enter the gear ratio it makes the motor RPMs read wrong in the logs. It is best to leave this at 1:1

This was an old function from helicopter ESCs where they wanted to know the main rotor RPM.
