Protek Prodigy 625 internal power not working

Hey Arrma nation.
My recently bought Protek 625 duo charger wasn’t working out of the box.……not powering on with the AC plug.
Took it to an electrician and he told me he was able to get it working with the DC plug in.
Question…….I don’t really want to return this charger if I can run it with an external power supply…….but sadly, I don’t know anything about external DC supplies.

The charger has what I think is an XT 60 port on the side……

What do I need to get this thing up and running. Not looking for crazy power, just enough to supply 200 watts per channel.

I've had a similar unit since 2017 I think mine is 900w and 75a.

Various companies such as SkyRC and ToolkitRC offer power supplies at various wattage ranges, if you're looking for a "brand name" option. They usually come with RC style plugs and a small digital interface. There are other models that exist too that I don't list below. I swear i've heard of a few more brands as well, but those are the ones that come to mind off the top of my head.

You can easily get a -Used ($25) or re-purposed, from a spare computer that you're not using anymore-
450-500watt PC power supply to provide the necessary juice for what you're wanting to accomplish.

Might be a dumb question but is there a reason why you can’t return it or contact Protek for a warranty replacement?

It’s an eBay purchase and it will be more of a nightmare and wait to return it. I do have a few more weeks to decide ultimately but I really dig these chargers.
