Castle Monster X 8s issue.

Every truck I own with a Castle Monster X 8s has this problem, the fan mounts keep breaking. Is there a solution for this problem beyond just replacing it with another stock mount?

To answer a question, the tape on the top of the fan is because I was getting ready to scrub the truck down.

Have you had this happen with the shorter fans? I have to wonder if the taller fan is causing more leverage to be applied to the mount.
