I have a senton 4x4 Mega 550 which I really like but the brushed motor finally gave up the smoke.

I bought a new castle brushless motor and ESC. The salesman recommended the HD 57t slipper set 0.8 mod spur gear to keep the additional power from tearing things up.

The Senton came with a composite slipper clutch (see photo). When I install the new 57t slipper set will I simply use the stock slipper shaft from the composite slipper clutch with the new slipper set?

There doesn’t seem to be a way to connect the slipper shaft to the slipper set as it was with the stock slipper clutch. Of course it does slide in the new slipper set, but I didn’t know of there was more I should do.

Assuming you are trying to upgrade a mega to blx? Just buy the whole blx slipper assembly. It comes with it.
I had to buy both separately, but there are a few 57t assemblies with different part numbers.

You can buy the slipper shaft(red piece) (AR310881)
The sleeve comes with the slipper maintenance kit(ARA310882)
