Charging a lipo battery

I need help please
Educate me about lipo

Im using a venom produo charger

Im charging a 4s 5000mah 30c discharged

I have been balance charging them
At a
1.0 amps

Now someone says i can crank it up to 5.0 amps balanced charged?

If this is true then i have been charging them wrong?

You can ever charge a RC-Lipo with 1C. Just some special Lipo´s needs less charging rate.
Also some Lipo´s can be charged with higher amps than 1C but it must be recommended by the manufacturer.
If you charge everytime with too low amps also with too high, it will reduce the lifetime of the Lipo.

Now my short answer: Yes you can!
